New Work in Keyhole Magazine

keyholehandwritten.jpgMy flash “One Shot” is in Keyhole Magazine’s Handwritten Issue. I got my copy a couple weeks ago, and it’s amazing. I loved reading everyone’s story in their own handwritting. It was also a bit weird. But in a good way. Some of the writers even included illustrations, or wrote on decorative paper. All in all, it’s a very, very cool issue, and much more fun to read than the usual stuffy lit mag. I hope Keyhole makes the Handwritten Issue an annual tradition!

Head over to Keyhole and ORDER! It’s only $12 for 23 authors, full color, and all handwritten. And the shipping is free!

While you’re on the Keyhole site, be sure to check out their online stories. They don’t disappoint.

I saw Ellen’s copy of this. It’s an incredibly cool issue, something that people will absolutely want to keep on their bookshelves for a long time after devouring the contents. Not often I think of an issue of a lit mag as being collectible, but this is.

Oh, I just got a copy at Powell’s over the weekend, and I LOVE it!!

BTW, Kelly, how are you doing? I hope you’re not getting flooded again.

    Hi, Dave and Sharon,

It is a very cool issue, isn’t it! I agree–totally collectible.

Sharon–as for the flooding, nope, not this time, though we expected it and prepared. It’s amazing what kind of fortification you can build with 300 sandbags, three rolls of plastic, and duct tape!
